Question How do you do it?

I'm having such a hard time getting in everything I need to get it. My schedule and daily life is so chaotic that it's never the same every day so routine is absolutely hard.

I am to take 6 multivitamins a day, 5 calcium citrate, 1 iron, 64 oz of water along with at least 1 full protein bullet and three 2oz meals that include protein per day. I have yet to get it all in.

Depending on how much work I do depends on what time I get up. I am always up by 7 though. However, at that time I usually pop in my synthroid, wait an hour or 2, have breakfast, wait an hour pop in 2 of my multivitamins, wait 2 1/2 to 3 hours pop in 2 of my calcium, and so on. I'm always too full with my water and vitamins to really want to eat or get my protein in.

How do you all do it? What kind of schedule are you on?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

you re very early out. theres no way you will get it all in this early. i was put on a schedule early out that had me sipping on something every hour or two hours. i was not required to get in al the protein until further out than you are. fluids was my surgeons main concern at first. hang in there.

Hang in there it will all work out for you over time, it takes alittle to get used to on how to get it all in, don't worry if you don't. Is it possible for you to take your multi and your calcium at the same time, that way then you could get in a small amount of protein in when you usually take that. That is what I did, and I also just ate something when ever I could, it will work out.

sharon - we had surgery on the same day! don't stress over it and do your best. i am not getting in all the water or protein yet either. for one thing i have never been a big drinker, so i am lucky if i get in 50 ounces of liquids a day. the way i understand it, at this stage the liquid protein we consume counts towards the needed 64 oz of liquids. i am doing fine on the 3 little "meals" and i put my vitamins in a little container that i take to work and leave sitting on my desk - helps me to remember them.

This is the hardest time....early out and trying to figure it ALL out....you will find your routine and once you hit that groove, it gets easier....hang in there and don't stress over it all....you are taking a LOT of calcium....but I'm assuming that's what your doctor ordered...I take 2 multi vitamins and 2 calcium each morning...and that's it!!!

Thanks everyone. I am doing my best to get on a schedule and yes they ordered that much calcium. I'm hoping to be able to slowly back off as I have my lab work drawn, but I still have a couple weeks for that. I'm sure it will all fall into place.

hang in there!!
you are still very early out & truly not expected to get all the protein in...
protein drinks count as fluid intake so you may very well be getting in more than you think..
do your best!!
we've all been there & you have an extra battle of trying to get in all the excess pills...
wonder if MD can change dose so its not so frequent????
check it out!!!

lol,
