Unhappy Protein Shake Dump????

So, I think I need to get a little more protein in since I am actually working out so I decided to have my first protein shake in forever. I make mine with milk and ice in the blender (I need to calories). I got so sick feeling. I really don't think it was the milk in it because I do a lot of dairy products. It makes me not want to ever do that again. I guess my pouch is just saying no to protein shakes.
Because of my espisode, I missed my ab class and my spin class. Ugh. I feel better now and there is an ab class this evening that I can hopefully make it to.
Anyway, has this happened to anyone else? The protein supplement was one of the ones from my surgeon's office so I know it wasn't sugar related.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Its really weird. I don't dump from eating bad things. I dumped on a protein bar, Atkins too, just the other day, how awful, no reason. 1. Are you using Skim Milk? 2. Are you adding anything else to the power and milk. I use to put sf cocoa in my coffee w/ protein , that bothered me. Do you think you drank it to fast? Did you actually dump (shakes, sweats, puke) or just get painfully full like your tummy is stretching out? I can't do Vanilla Soy Milk in my protein, wayyyy to much sugar for me anyhow.

I get the shakes and sweats and I have to go to the bathroom. I don't throw up from dumping. After I go to the bathroom, I have to lay down for at least an hour because I feel so bad. I did put peanut butter in for extra protein and flavor. But I have never dumped off of that. It is a staple in my diet for now.
I think that protein supplements in the morning just don't agree with me. I can't eat protein bars in the morning either.
I just decided to do the shake 1. for the extra protein boost 2. because I really am getting tired of eggs in the morning

I've heard alot of the vets say that they have to walk away from something awhile. I had to walk away from carrotts and corn on the cob. Im not a fan of eggs so much. Do you drink coffee? I use the protein powder as creamer in my coffee, easy to get down too. Good luck, hope it goes "smoother" from now on.

I dumped horribly on a sugar free pudding the other night- no idea why. Maybe our pouches are just sensitive sometimes??

Yes, it is def a hit or miss with the pouch, some days are fine while others are horrible. Still no staraight eggs for me, I have to mix with with sour cream and veggies so that it doesnt hurt me. A lil bit of boiled egg in my tuna is fine though. I have never had any problems with the protein shakes though...I hope that you can get it figured out!

I got real sick with milk in the begining. And every once in a while I dump from the no sugar added Edy's ice cream, other times not. Like Kim says, the pouch is VERY picky and changes almost hourly! It might be the dairy products, or maybe not. Do try it agian, but only try a little and make sure you have no where to go!

I never complain of constipation anymore, because, I just happened to find out that having a protein shake will give me a run for the toilet! I just mix mine with water, so I know it isn't milk related, but it happens every time!

Very rarely I like a small bowl of honey nut cheerios. Once I used skim milk and got sick! If I use Hood Calorie countdown which has less sugar, I dont get sick. The milk could have done it.

Fat can make you dump, not just the sugars. Check out how much the fat intake was.
