Default Nutrional Action Newsletter--good read.

Nutrition Action Healthletter is a publication I've gotten recently. It's published by the CSPI (Center for Science in the Public Interes), a non profit group that is a kind of "food police". Cost is $15 for 10 bulletins per year, but they do run specials for as low as $9 per year. This issue has:
An extensive article on fiber in foods, and which types of fiber actually are good or bad for you.
Protein levels in seveal foods and how to gage how much protein you need.
Good article on improving your balance to prevent falls--one part stresses Vit D. importance.
Ratings on virtually every brand of yogurt available, with fats, sugars, calories, etc.
Evaluations of newer foods to see whether food labelling actually deliver their claims.
They have no advertising in the newsletter, and here are some other endorsments. I've found the publication to be very informative to help me read through false claims on labels.
Barbara Walters "...a leading consumer group"
US News & World Report "Nutrition Action has profoundly altered the way America eats."
NY Times "The messages Nutrition Action delivers as a respected authoriity are not ignored"
Oprah Winfrey "They're on a mission to get America to eat a lot better".
Dr. David Kessler, former US Food & Drug Administrator "A tireless advocate of improving food labels and getting accurate information to the American consumers.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
