Default Help--I need some variety

My tummy really does not like meat. Fish is okay, eggs are great, but even my all time favorite staple--turkey burger is a no. No to red meat, turkey, chicken or heaven forbid pressed lunch meat. I toss them all up.

Boca burger is a yes, and I had so much cottage cheese and cheese sticks post surgery--bleah.

I'm worried though because I've gotten the java jive again. I'll drink coffee as a meal replacement--protein from the milk is my justification.

I've gotten a few protein bars--they go great with the milk. I need ome good protein advice that does not include protein powder or shakes--

My pouch is really direct, if it doesn't go . . . I toss it up. I never was a good thrower upper but now, I'm a pro!

I got beans, soft cheese, protein bars, egg whites, and milk with coffee. Any other great ideas. I thought I read something on this site about protein peas?

Becky

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

be careful with protein bars...a lot of them are high calorie and high sugar (aimed at body builders)....very few of them are really designed for us...and those that are may be high in sugar alcohols, which can cause..."other" problems...(can you say immodium???? LOL)

how about yogurt....skim milk with non fat powdered milk mixed in? That is low cal, low fat and high protein....tuna is good...I would stay away from processed foods (pressed lunch meat)....have you tried beef jerky....? Surprisingly, a lot of us tolerate this VERY well....

I eat a lot of chicken, tuna....but I can eat red meat too...I'm sure others will be along with more suggestions!
