Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I tollerated popcorn fine after my surgery. I've also regained 55 pounds in the last few years. It wasn't only the popcorn, but I'm sure it didn't help. Be real careful - some things just aren't worth it. Just because we can doesn't mean we should.

My Story - Short version:
I weighed 332 in 2002 when I had my RNY. Over the next 2 years I lost down to 175. Then I started breaking the rules just a tad, then a tad more, then... You get the idea. I have been up and down between 205 and 290 for the last 4 or 5 years. I'm here again, trying again, and won't give up until I get it right.

I was given the all clear at 3 months- I can honestly say I do eat it on occasion however I find it is a chew and spit food for me.....the little bits bug me and I just don't feel like swallowing them- gross I know, but it makes it not worth eating.

I used to love pop corn but now it just doesn't taste as good. I eat pretzles instead when I need a salty snack.

I have tried eating popcorn a few times and those small pieces always get stuck in my throat, I try to spit out the small pieces but some always seem to manage to get in my throat. The most I have eaten is less than a handful. Then I am cured for a long time till I try again and the same thing happens. I do not even waste my time anymore on popcorn, just becasue of the little pieces. I am not big on popcorn but I sure liked the flavored ones and that is a thing in the past for me now. Another thing about the little pieces, I am scared of them getting stuck in my pouch.
