Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | OK now I know that we haven't been in OW issues without having addiction personality and that's the main problem in everyone of us. I'm starting to freak out I have been piggy night eater for the last 4.5 months basically since I start going through the schools stress. My problem is continuous snacking and especially after dinner time I basically munch until I fall asleep. I know I've been through a lot of tough times so part of it is emotional eating but now my conscious mind should have got it! I'm returning back mid of Jan so knock it off! but I'm still eating in a very bad manner...somebody help please.. I still have to lose a bunch and I feel bad that the schools gym is closed until early Jan. the weather is horrible otherwise I'd go for outdoor walk! Feel guilty ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hanadi

| Super Moderator | Chuppy, please read the Pouch Rules that LittleLisaMarie copied in. Copy and download it to your computer, and keep it with you always. Go back to it whenever you feel you are slipping. I think the article if a great piece of info all around. (((((HUGS))))) Get back on track and let's see you make Century club in no time at all, then on to Onederland!!

| Chuppy, I agree with Doc. I like to snack too. Reading and following the Pouch Rules really takes away the urge!!! I was still following my new "pouch" rules...

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | ((HUG))) HANADI! ITs not an easy journey and the further out we get, more falls onto our own shoulders. We need to change our old habits and make new stratgies to combat these old habits. We didnt have brain surgery so our head still wants to do the old habits. I battle this daily myself. YOUR not alone. THIS didnt all start happening till much further out. But it happens. I always tell myself "NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS" and I even went into weight managment councling when i was nearing my 1 year out to help. HANG in there! MAKE healthy choices when the need to graze hits. MAKE them high protein snacks and lo carb!!! AND maybe it wont be as bad. ((HUG))) we all know you have alot of stress too that triggers such behavior.

| OLD HABITS ARE HARD TO BREAK CHUPPY! Christmas Day for me was very hard. I seriously had the urge just to keep pigging out. I kinda did. NOT BAD, but I did. Then, I dug out my before pic. and that did it. I NEVER WANT TO GO BACK TO THAT. I work afternoon shift, and eat a little later than normal. By the time I get home from work, I am ready to eat again. I don't want to get into that nasty habit again, so that is when I dig out my diet tea and ice chips. That fills me right up, and I am content to go to bed then feeling like I just ate. I would rather do that then to have something to eat. It works for me, but might not work for the next person. HANG IN THERE CHUP. You must be doing something right by the looks of you lately. GREAT JOB! mike |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | OMG I can't tell you how just reading this article clicked in my mind for the first time although I have read the rules on the board over and over but I think I didn't get it before this time. The water loading phenomena I understood it for the first time and it's so great to know that I haven't missed a lot because 6 months post-op is the perfect time for this pouch training especially when the pouch is absolutely healed. The full feeling works with the water loading technique but Gosh it's very painful for the bladder if you know what I mean heheheh especially if I'm out I don't hate anything to death like I hate using public toilets! So today is my second day on the rules I'm doing also the 3 bites TCraig famous advice to Deborah (first bite protein, 2nd vegi, 3rd whatever I want) today when I had the Tuna salad they were the 1st 2 bits and Gosh it was so yummi! I have to admit eating without drinking is tough but the article taught me to overcome the thirst feeling I have to water the pouch all the day and water load it before 15 minutes of the meal and OMG it works!! I love these new healthy rules, I'm pretty sure I'll be happier with the results. Thanks everyone for your invaluable advice. Love, Hanadi
