Default Problems with protien drinks

I am having problems finding something I like to drink with my protien~I have a hard time with the consistancy of the drink after you add the protien to the blender. I don't care for the thickness of it. Any suggestions??

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I like the isopure no carb. It's a fruit flavored drink not a creamy shake type. GNC carries them.

Isopure no carb is good. Healthwise is also a fruity drink almost like koolaid. Have you tried shaking your shake rather than blending? Blending tends to add more air which makes the shake frothy. Shaking minimizes the frothiness.

Hi! I have no problem drinking the protein drink I chose (Whey Delicious-chocolate flavor), but lately I have putting it into a blender with half a banana and a small bit of crushed ice and blending it into a "smoothie". This has been quite an enjoyable change. If your surgeon allows bananas yet, maybe this is an idea for you. Good Luck!

I bought some unjury samples packets and have mixed one. It was terrible. I used water and ice. It clumped terrible and had a nasty smell. Should I have not used the ice? I know the unjury is senitive to heat over 120. Maybe I had it too cold??

if you don't like the thickness, try using half as much in the drink....your protein drinks should ONLY be 8 oz....that is ONLY 1 cup..measure it out.

I find that sometimes shake mixes mix better in a shaker cup and with low fat soy milk with it. I don't use a blender for shakes because it takes too much work. Shaker cups are much easier. Certain kinds of shakes also have a thickening property to them. So watch for that. With Unjury powder, it seems to work best when you mix it in very slowly and stir it in. So I hope that helps.

Try mixing the protein powder with a copy of coffee. I have not tried this as I have not had surgery yet but I have heard that it is really good.

I use the single serve premixed drinks by premiere I get at Costco. They taste good and have 30 grams of protien per serving!
