On Brandy's suggestion, I bought the chocolate truffle lastnight. Omg. I love it!!! I tossed a scoop in the blender with ice and maybe 8oz of fat free milk. It was delicious! My 8 year old tried it and begged for a glass of her own. Lol. Tasted like a chocolate milkshake. With the milk, I got about 31g protein for only about 180 cals.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Btw... For those of you who have flexible spending accts.... My insurance reimburses me for my protein powder. I had my doc write a statement detailing the vitamins I'm required to have and he included protein powder supplements. It's a whole lot easier to spend $35 on a jug of Nectar knowing I get that money back!

I LOVE Nectar brand! My absolute fav so far is the Chocolate Truffle. It is thick and chocolatey. I mix mine with water.
I also like Caribean cooler. I like it better when I mix it in with the chocolate truffle though. It tastes like a Mounds Bar...MMMMMM!
I just ordered the Mocha Latte flavor today through Vitaminshoppe.com I am excited to taste it. It sounds sooo good!
I'm a weirdo though, I LOVE protein shakes..good ones that is..LOL!

Ps...you wanna try something good...
mix your Chocolate Truffle protein with water, ice and a Tbs of cream cheese in a blender till smooth.
mmmmm...you talk about good! It tastes like a creamy milk shake.
Without the cream cheese it is icey but the cream cheese makes it creamy.
Plus it is very low carb

I called Syntrax and order the 11 samples for $9.99 (thats with shipping)! I just wanted to share if anyone is interesting in trying Nectar.

Thanks Skinnyme, I just called and ordered the sample pack too. I really like the isopure no carb but that is getting pretty expensive. About 4.50 a day.

I must be the expection, I have tried the carribean cooler and crystal sky, don't like either one. To me they have an after taste and a smell. Guess I'm just too fussy. This weekend I'm going to try the choc mixed with milk. Glad they were just samples and not a 6# jug.

I got my samples in and I love most all of them.
I'm so happy/relieved that I now have a protein supplement I can handle.
Just have to decide which flavor to buy first.
Thanks so much for the recommendation.
