Default I ate 2 saltines with thin layer of spicy hummus!

I have made a decision to move forward on day 11 to semi-solid foods. So today I chewed two saltines with some spicy hummus and thought I had died and gone to heaven. So far no reprocussions.

60 ml apple sauce
8 ozs peppermint tea
90 ml chicken and veggie soup pureed but not creamed
1 egg scrambled with a tiny dot of chili sauce mixed in...I know I know I might pay
90 ml of protein frozen yogurt ..I mixed with skim milk, raspberries and yogurt pureed and put in freezer...

So protein wise I think only the egg and the drink count and that is not enough protein.

I will have to try and get some more protein drink into me for the rest of the day...

God I wish I was not such a newbie at this...

Tonight at dinner I am going to make a turkey frozen dinner and puree is together with the corn and potatoes and see how that goes..maybe skip the corn and just do the turkey and potatoes..

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Protein first, then veg and then carbs if there is room. Focus on the protein and water early on.

Make sure that your surgeon is fine with you moving ahead. He won't be able to be responsible for your success if you change things around without his blessings, as he won't know what went amiss.
It's only 3 more days until you it's time for you to move up according to your surgeon's original schedule. Even if your body seems fine with it, being able to resist temptation is a very big part of your learining curve in setting out life long habits that you will need to set up in order to be successful and stay successful.

If you can...cook rather than eating premade or processed foods. You'll be amazed at how much easier your pouch will handle "real" food.

Protein first, always. If you're thinking you're not getting in enough protein then don't puree a frozen dinner that probably has potatoes & veggies...obviously you're getting lots of carbs with your meal. Protein first!!! Then if you have room fruits & veggies.

Yes the Golden Rule is protein first, veggies and then last but not least the
carbs.
I know all surgeons offices do things different but in the begining my surgeon
pushed more of the drinking and things such as protein drinks to get protein
in. But like I said all surgeons are different.
