| puree!
I have graduated to puree! Yipee. Well, tomorrow I will be cooking up some puree recipes that I got out of a baby food cookbook but tonight I decided to have refried beans. You would think I was at a 5 star restaurant the way I enjoyed them! But now I cen really see the learning curve that is coming in regards to knowing how much to eat. I am completely eating by the measureement right now, but at the end of the meal, I wanted more and felt like I could eat more. Hopefully it will get easier like everything else has.

| Its hard to know when your full , best way is to sit down your plate once you have eaten your measured amount and wait a bit and you will know if your full usually...Better to go with less than to much for sure lol...good luck with your new puree recipes , what a greta idea ! You should post some for people to use...hugs , Annie

WTG.. I does take awhile to learn the full signal. You are still healing so give it time and then you will know for sure.

Purees are easy to swallow and don't take much chewing. Chew anyway and get used to eating slooooowwllyyyyyy!!! This is a hugely important habit to get into and for most of us former food inhalers, it's a tough one to form. Practice makes perfect, and your pouch will demand nothing less than perfection - every time you swallow!!
Congratulations on your progress!

Sounds like you are getting the hang of things. The slider and puree foods go down easy, start your new habits now and as you progress you will have less issues. Chew chew chew it all to mush!
