(((HUG)))
i know this happens.
AND for many varrying reasons.
IT is a tool and we have to have
good eating habits ...I strongly
suggest you try your best to get back
on track and try your best to eat
HIGH protein lo carb meals. I know i am
a carb addict. AND when i put them in my
eating more then 30 grams a day, i loose
control of my eating. SO i fully understand.
Its not easy...i am starting to
get into a hard crossroad and
find now more then ever i am going
to have to make healthy choices
and excersise to maintain.
GOOD LUCK!
I saw a post on here today
about a getting back on track diet
and i asked the member to pm me it....
I will PM you this plan when i get it
hugs
hang in there i know its not easy!!! I am
facing that now! THE first year the weight
flew off pretty much with no problem
and the hard work begins after that.

Thank you Lisa! You made me feel better. I guess its a club that noone but us understands. My husband can say the same thing but doesnt understand like we do. I am a tax preparer and have over 500 clients. They saw me lose weight and now gain weight back. It is so humiliating. Some even say things about it. I feel so depressed over it and prob sorry for myself. Im usually a very upbeat and happy person so this is not how I usually am. I feel like this is my biggest failure and everyone can see it. There is no hiding weight gain.

FIrst off, welcome to the board, thank you for joining us.
I hope you'll be able to find a lot of what you need here.
It is never too late.
As Lisa says, as everyone says, this surgery is a tool and only a tool. To make it work, does need some work.
However, even if you have gained some of the lost weight back, feel miserable and scared, you still have not lost the tool, You have it.
I'm sure one thing you've noticed is that even if you can eat anything and about as much as you want to, the amount you actually can eat is less than before.
You still have the chance to succeed.
Sure, it will take a lot of work, and a lot of effort than before, but you can still make it, trust yourself.
One way to do it is go back to your immediately post op diets, and go step by step from there. Yes, re-start with liquids, then go to pureed then soft, then regular. Try to stay 1-2 weeks on each stage.
A few points.
As well as what you eat, how is your eating pattern?
Do you graze? If so, what type of food do you graze on?
Do you drink with your meals? You muxt know that liquids with or immediately after meals will flush the food from your pouch, so yoou will feel hungry sooner.
Have you figured out WHy and WHEN you eat?
Keeping track on Fitday or similar sites as Lisa suggest is a good idea, too as it gives you info that will help you figure out where you could improve your diet.
As well as support on this board, do you attend support meetings sponsored by your surgeon? Keep in tougch with him and others such as nutricians and therapists?
They help you a lot, too. If you had been going, but stopped after a while, or you feel shy about going because of your regain, buckle up there, and go back, even if you feel bad, because if you start losing again, you can show others that it never is too late, and once you get back on the wagon, you will do fine.
One last thought.
As many people say, the surgeons operated on your stomach, but not your brains. That, you have to do yourself, and this is what this surgery actuallyis about.
Remember, you have NOT LOST the tool, You will succeed, please don't give up on yourself!! You are such a precious person, you need to be happy for us all!!
Please come back here again and again. We have had a number of posters who were asking what to do because they regained, only to disappear again. I am constantly wondering how they are, have they found the answers they needed, etc etc.
Please let us know how your are doing, whether bad or good.
Yes, we all know it's not all good, we want to commiserate with you when it's bad, be happy with your when it's good.

HERE is what the other member suggested for a back on track plan:
My Back on track program is really just my basics to my BTC program,
which is now Baric Clinics. Lots of protein, and 6-8 little meals a day.
I start eating at 7am and stop at 8:30pm, it is funny that all the
years I dieted, I was told not to eat, and now to make my tool work I gotta
eat.
I drink lots of water and have tried to cut back on the artificial
sweetner too, seems to help. No fried food and cut out the sweets. We all
know what to do, it is just doing it again! Guess what, it works! I
started this on Janauary 3rd, and dropped the 1st 15 really quick, the
last 5 have taken a bit, bit alot easier that I really thought. I feel
THANK YOU DM514!!!!
