Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

This is a typical workday...

AM: 2 home coffee au laits...cup of coffee with 1/2 c. hot nonfat milk
morning break (10AM): 2/3 c. cottage cheese.
one slice whole grain home baked bread made with home ground flour.

Noon: Salad with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and dressing.
Either a couple slices cold cuts and cheese, or some leftovers from dinner, making sure there is a good chunk of protein.

Snack: Popcorn, homemade and brought in. (Large oven-ready bowl...4T popcorn kernels, 2 teaspns oil...cover with oven safe plate and nuke for 5.5-6.5 minutes. I eat about half of this, leaving the other half at home for whomever wants it)

If I am hungry otherwise, I will nosh bites off a PureProtein bar.

Dinner is the interesting thing. DH usually makes fish, which I hate. So I will find some frozen leftover meat and eat that with the veggies DH steams.

I usually eat quite a bit less on the weekends. and unfortunately not enough water.

I am generally not hungry during the day. I eat a small breakfast and then may have some pistachios to tide me over before dinner which is a typical "comfort food" dinner...a meat, a starch and a veggie. I eat a salad plate "full" of dinner food.

Keep in mind, I am only about 3 months

Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg with some shredded cheese and 1 piece of bacon or oatmeal

Lunch: 3 oz deli turkey and 1 oz of cheese

snack: 1 oz cashews

dinner: 4 turkey meatballs with marinara sauce or 4 oz chicken breast

dessert: sugar free pudding or sugar free jello with some sugar free cool whip

I just got to my required daily protein intake with this ammount of food. As I continue my intake, I will now start to add more veggies or grains.

LOL John may look like alot of snacks but if it works why fix it right , you have done a fantastic jobyour basically doing as some say just eat several meals all day long...thats why i have added trail mix to my day , we shall see how it goes weight wise , no gain so far bu no loss either , but its that time for a stall alas once again...keep up the great work John !

Question to anyone , am I right or wrong in I dont eat the same things daily , other than yogurt...i do variations all week...

Thanks, I had a surgeon that required a lot of education before surgery. It was worth it because she makes sure you are well informed for this new journey so that you get the most out of it.

You are doing nothing wrong by eating different things everyday. Just make sure that everything that goes into your mouth is good for you and eat lean protein. I treat myself once or twice a week with sugar free Reeses peanut butter cups. There are ten small ones an a bag and I will have two or three a couple times a week. I also found an ice cream shop here in town that makes there own ice cream and once every couple of weeks I will have a kiddie size no sugar added moose tracks ice cream. If you watch what you eat 99% of the time and make sure it is healthy food it is worth it to treat yourself once in a while, just don't let it get out of hand. If you feel you can't control the treats once in a while then DON'T DO IT!!
