Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Welcome to the board, thank you for joining us.
Please pull up a chair and make yourself at home here.

You are not yet one month out of surgery, right? What type surgery did you have? What stage of food are you on?
If you had gastric bypass, I think most surgeons say no to red meat untill you are 3-4 months post op, and likely, you will have trouble with them for a while, I am sorry to say.
If you are still on the pureed stage, take a look in the Gastric Bypass Diet forum here, there are a number of pureed recipes that you may find you do well with when you try them.

((((((((HUGS))))))) May your journey go well.

Yes you seem to be very early out yet. For some it takes more time to tolerate certain foods. For myself I tend to not eat red meats because before surgery i didnt digest them well so not going to test myself to much after. CHicken has never been an issue for me. Chicken cutlets lightly breaded seem to sit the best with me.

After surgery our tummies are like that of a baby, trial and error. IF it dont work the first time , take a break from it and try again a little later on. If you continue to have issues maybe speak to your surgeons office or the nutrionist working with him to try to figure things out. Good luck.
