I had my surgery on 11/17 and I am only allowed 2oz or Bariatric Advantage shakes 4x a day and 64 oz of water/Cystal Light and SF popsicles. I am not sure that I could handle anything else at this point.

The blender is your new best friend at this stage. You can take tasty food and blend it to mush or even semi-liquid. No texture but all the taste. If you're blending meats, be sure that they are soft, with no gristle or unchewable parts. Those won't blend.
Your pouch is still very tender, so take it easy on her and she should be nice to you. Just because you have permission to eat something doesn't necessarily mean that it's a good idea at the moment to do it. Be careful, don't push the envelope, and follow the rules exactly as far as how much and when to drink, and start working up to your required protein levels.
Good luck!

A few other things you can do if you really want some soft food but cannot tolerate the meats and stuff yet...
You can do broth (chicken or Beef, low sodium I found swansons to taste the best). Or you can get plain protein powder and mix with sugar free pudding (that was my favorite) when I was sick of sf jellow and sf popsicles. Refried beans with cheese melted on top is good, split pea soup was a life saver for me too!! yogurt is great as well! Plain cream of wheat too you can mix in protein powder too.

There are lots of good recipes on this web site. I agree, bump up your protein, but take it slow and easy and really listen to your body.
