Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Been there done that and guess what?? Take the pills for nausea. That really really calmed my tummy down. I couldn;t get hardly anything but water down. Today is the first day that I actually ate something. I had 1/2 a cup of split pea and ham soup from cambells. I can't do the drinks that much and I needed to start getting some kind of food into me. I was eating a nibble here and there and that was it. I am 4 weeks out today and I finally ate something!!!!!!! It will come in time. The stomach needs to calm down and start healing from the upheaval it had.

Good luck and welcome to the losers bench.

Honey, it will get better. Just think of the positive changes in your health and body that will come your way in the next few months! The forst month after my surgery I had major "buyers remorse" thinking what the hell did I just do to myself! I am a little over 3 months out now and feel a lot better!

Congratulations on joining the Losers' Bench.
Rest well, take things easy and one day at a time, don't forget to get in your fluids, and to walk walk walk.

I can relate! The first 3 weeks are definately the hardest. I am 6 weeks out now and it does get better. And from what I've heard, the 3 month mark gets even better. You just keep sipping and walking and get that fluid! Hang in there and watch the weight fall off!!

I'm going to keep watching here and take some inspiration from this thread. I'm 4 weeks post surgery again. Actually I had to have a stricture stretched after 6 weeks post-op which means I started all over with just liquids, etc. Two days ago I was finally able to get down the recommended amount of protein even though my pouch isn't happy about it.

Other than that, I feel great! My knees and back are in love with my weight loss.
