So this morning I had my scrambled egg with cheese had 1/4 of the egg and my pouch started feeling tight( I did eat it slow too) stopped eating and 1/2 hours later threw it Feeling better now but still uneasy. Now really nervous because I leave for vacation(a cruise) on Sunday and planned on eating scrambled eggs for breakfast everyday.

:Hopefully they will have some kind of high protein breakfast available. Maybe you could take some protein bars or make some (professor had a recipe for some that sounded really good, I wanna make some) so that you you'll have something available if they don't have anything that you could eat.

I think scrambled eggs go down easier without the added cheese - then you can chew them to liquid. You're best in obtaining protein from drinks anyway rather than from food since the protein in the protein drinks doesn't need to be digested in the stomach.

Take it easy with the eggs during your cruise. I would try them again after you got back. I'm thinking there are hundreds of options on a cruise you could have. If nothing else, just eat some Cheerios.
Like a rock. Not sure if I am allowed cheerios don't think so...I'm on purees foods now which is why eggs worked..if am feeling up to it I will take Sues suggestion and do without the cheese...needless to say did not eat anything besides a pudding pack and my thyroid and actigall medicine..also only 10 oz of water..couldn't stomach anything else. Tomorrow I need to drink like a fish. Taking protein powder with me on vaca just in case. Thank you everyone for your help and input...still getting to know my pouch.just shy of 4 wks..
You're brave Chrismom! You have two days post op on me, my cruise isn't until May and I'm stressin' about what I'm going to eat!
Have a blast, cruisin's the best
Bless you. You are brave to plan a cruise so soon after pre-op. You may not have a problem again with eggs, each day is different. Remember you do not have to have 'so-called' breakfast foods in the morning.
