Default My thoughts on the Gelatin and SlimFast I ordered

I must say i absolutely LOVE the slim fast low carb shakes....Im sooo excited that i have found a one that i can actually tolerate. I cant really drink them fast so idk if thats a good thing or not but it takes me like 2hrs to drink the whole thing. Is that ok? The reason i ask is bc the shakes really keep me full....like i dont feel hungry at all. They are 11oz and there's 20g of protein and when im done i drink my water inbetween. I guess im a little worried bc i know i should be getting my protein from food but the convienence of these shakes help me so much. Today i did have the gelatin i ordered (i got the fruit punch kind) and its pretty good. Its pretty filling also, it still sucks that i cant really caculate the protein value in it bc of that protein we cant absorb to well thats in it or something, but its still a nice snack to have that has a little protein im hoping i can absorb. So anyway i just thought i would say hello and note my opinion on the gelatin since i know a few have gotten samples and might have purchased it also

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

This is great I think. I rarely get a chance just to go up and down the isles in the grocery store and just look but I did take a stroll yesterday on purpose to get some excerise. Long winter here in Va so I took advantage of it.

I know it dont have protein but...... I come accross Hawiian Punch Jello. In different flavors. Now i have a short term memory loss so I dont know if I seen it in the drink isle where you purchase it with the stick things like put it in with the bottles of water or the jello isle. Somthing I thought I would share.

Have any of your all tried the snickers protein bars? In walmart they had a table set up with samples of them handing them out. One i tried wasnt so good but the other was. I got a 6 pack of those. Again... my memory is not working well on how much protein it has. Its a bad couple weeks for me and my current memory functions....... but look at those to and read...... I acutally thought when I looked at it and im out a while it was a really good thing. I dont know about people under 3 months however. Just a thought on this side.

You will find them in the protein powder area in the pharmacy area.

yes ive tried the snickers protein bars but they have a lot of sugar. They were a little to sweet for me, it would take me awhile to get them down...they were still good though. I might try them again in another month or so and see if i can tolerate them then. I think those have 20grams of protein also. But i do like the fact that i can count the liquid in my shakes towards my 64ozs of liquid for the day. And the carb count is high, my low carb shakes are just 6grams and i love that

I did not like the jello - it was really hard to get it down..it has a "medicine" taste to it and the texture is more rubbery then jiggly.

Yes it is kinda rubbery, i just kinda chopped it down and mixed it around and it was all good for me. I didnt get the medicine taste though, i wont be buying them again either since i cant absorb the entire amount of protein.
