Default What is it you need to do......?

Knowledge is power. I believe this to be true. If you know it and believe it ..you are more than half way there. Now...having said that, what is it you know you have to do to be successful on this particular journey we are on (yes the WLS journey) haha...I am sure some of us or on other journeys or side trips of some sort....Anywho... I know for sure I need to drink more water a day. I have tried several different methods/schedules to get more in before night-time. I am working on it. I actually set up a plastic (like from the milk truck) box in my trunk with different flavors of Sobe 0 waters and diet Arizona Iced Teas to bring into work. This is working pretty good - I have no excuses now. If I forget in the morning - I have a reason to walk outside to my car. (It is getting warmer...so I better remember to bring them in in the morning)..Also, I need more exercise. My dogs miss the walks. Gotta get off my a$$ and get going.... I have 20 - something pounds left... I can do this!!! What about you.....

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You just posted exactly the two things I need to do. More water and exercise. Also, getting in a little more protein will help too!

I am with you....I would love to learn how to cook healthier, shop for better foods, and how to put healthier foods together. I told my nut the other day that they fixed my stomach and sent me on a journey, but someone forgot the hardest part....the cooking for a new you! If you grew up cooking this way you probably didnt need the surg. however I grew up a little country girl with meat and potatoes and of course they were fried...now I KNOW I need to cook differently but I just DON'T KNOW how! I keep looking for good cook books but the ones that I find are ones that either have fancy food that I have never heard of or they are way to complicated to fix and eat and still get everything done in a day, I also perfer cookbooks with pictures. It is also WAY more expensive to eat healthier....and they wonder why the average population is overweight!

Wow...there are sooo many things on that list!
Right now I'm still focusing on management of the fluids and proteins. I have just started back at my old job and there have been a lot of changes, so just management of the rules has been a challenge this past week (including vitamins).

The exercise thing is a must. I'm getting home around 6:00 p.m. at night. I'm working 10 hour days, without lunch breaks. I eat during no-show appointments. So, by the time I get home in the evening, it is either working on 2nd job (teaching classes online) or just trying to unwind after the day's events....

I'm still working on it though...

I need to always remember not to allow myself to become lazy, bored, complacent and depressed such that I fall back into my old ways and lifestyle.

2 years out and I am stepping things up.

RR gives me the chance to remember where I was by posting my pictures and statistics while all my old clothes are gone and pictures burried somewhere where I wont see them.
