| Berries
Hi everyone.... I am far enough out that I can eat alot of things. I still dump on sugar and get sick if I push limits. I do not want to get in the habit of doing that. I am getting back to the basics (after my Easter dinner buffet diaster.....we won't talk about that) anyway... About berries?? Does anybody eat berries? I usually have a handful of blueberries in my yogart everyday...but I am seeing the strawbeeies are out and look nice...and cheap. My strawberry plants are coming up... So is there to much sugar... Is it more healthy for you than sugar is bad you... What do you think?? |

I am about 3 months out and can eat strawberries. Just learned I could eat a fresh orange, what a joy.
You are right though, even fruit must be eaten in moderation.

There is a difference between natural and refined sugars. The natural sugars take more digesting, so they don't peak so hard and cause as much chaos as refined can.
As in all things, introduce them gently and cautiously, and use moderation.

I have been eating blueberries and strawberries since they came in season. I've had no problems with either. I have also been eating watermelon.

I love berries ..have them everyday...and I think it's like Doc said last year..no one ever got fat eating fruit and vegetables? Everything in moderation...
Fruit or cookies? Fruit or donuts? Fruit or icecream? Fruit or cake? You get the point!!!! laughing

Some people dump on fruits, and early on I did dump on *some* fruits (can't remember which ones anymore...), but now fruit is an AWESOME sweet substitute.
