My doctor wants me to get in about 90-100 grams of protein a day. I’m still in the liquid-only phase so that would require me to drink about 3-4 shakes a day. I am on day 12 and I AM SICK OF THESE FREAKIN PROTEIN SHAKES!!!! I feel like I am going to just looking at one.

I know protein is very important, but if I go off them for a couple of days and only had, broth, jell-o, flavored water, etc would it really be that detrimental? I honestly don’t think can drink anymore.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I am sick of them too. We gotta stick to this girl! You can do it. Have you tried a different flavor to maybe mix it up a little?

Hi Olivia. I was thinking of maybe a different flavor. I went to GNC before surgery and bought one of those huge containers of protein powder. It's Cookies and Cream. At first I loved it, but now I can't stand the taste of it. I was a little afraid to jazz it up by adding something more to it because I figure that the more I add to the shake, the more calories I'm adding too.

But maybe I'll stop on my way home from work and by a different flavor.

Thanks! I wish you continued success too!

Wow, not even two weeks into this and already you want to ignore what your doctor tells you. Good luck with that.

At GNC they have the Protien Pak Chocolate Pudding that has 30 g protein and 1 g sugar and 1 carb and it is good.

I haven't tried any of their other stuff. I like the Bariatric Advantage Stuff. Vanillia...can add things to it. Tastes yummy.

Check unjury.com. They have an unflavored one that you can add to anything you are already drinking.
