Wink Getting Back on Track

I introduced my self the other day and I got some good tips in my first post! a brief run down is I am 39 had roux n y bypass on 8/7/08 had 2 kids after so I am ready to get back on track to my goal.

I am getting ready to start the 5DPT. I had to order more Protein Powders so once they get here I will be ready to go!

I sat down and wrote up a menu plan which is something I never do. shame on me.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Day 3 will probably be the hardest as you detox and the sugar withdrawals hit you. Be strong and push through it. The only way to kill your carb monster is to cut off her food supply and starve her to death!

CT's right on the money. The carb monster's a beast - but definitely is beatable. Just stay strong and refuse to give in. 'Cause the good news is that once you get past the sugar cravings for a day or two, they GO AWAY! It really is amazing how little you want sugar when you're not eating it. So be prepared to do battle and refuse to do anything but win and you'll be on your way!

You've got a whole bunch of people here who have total faith in you that you can not only get through this 5 day pouch test, but get right back on track and get used to eating for your pouch again. You'll finish off that weight loss and be the healthy active mom your kids need.

Keep posting during your 5DPT - don't be a stranger, OK?

Betsy
