Another way i suppose you can get frozen yougart...... You know those Gogerts they have with like shreck on them in the yougart section? I used to get them before they started putting shreck on them and freeze them instead of leaving in the fridge. I loved them that way. I suppose the wrapper shouldnt matter but when Yoplait stopped making them in the orginal packages and put them into the kids I stopped. . Mabe a idea?

If you have a Kroger near you they have there own brand of frozen yogart. Any grocery store I have been in is full of it in the icecream section.

I read my box of Popcisle brand no sugar added fudgecicles. They have 5 grams of protein and 40 calories. Yes the sugar alchols are 5 but that is a natural sugar you getting if im correct. If not Doc will correct me on this one.

I know the fruit sugars we can have and dont seem to make us dump. There actually helpful. There natural sugars.

Now this is comming from somone who has not had gastric bypass yet to so..........I might be wrong on the sugar alochols in the fudgecicles. I noticed a post that stated they loved them and they did great on them. So I dont know. Go into a local grocier and stand in front of the icecream freezers and take a good hard look. My hubby is already doing this. He plans on losing his 20 lbs that he thinks he needs to lose when I have my surgery. LOL.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hooray for your hubby getting on board with supporting you. I take my guy to all my appts. For the first time in years, he knows what I weigh. While my intentions are being healthier, I think he thinks healthier and sexier.

When do you have your surgery scheduled?

It was really funny...the nurses at the hospital told me I was the "tiniest" bariatric patient they had every had. My weight is all in my torso. I have average legs, but even I can tell they have weight on them compared to when I weighed 160. This whole process is a life changing event and you should view it as such. For a couple of days, I mourned the other part of my stomach that was no longer attached.

Another side effect I found of surgery, I had really epic length dreams for two days after coming home. That has passed. I attribute it to the anesthesia that was still working its way out of my body.
Have a great day?

i dont think sugar alcohols are natural. i think they are chemical. they make some people dump, and some people LITERALLY dump if you know what i mean
sugars from fruit can also cause it, but they dont cause it in me.
just be careful with the no sugar added fudgesicles. i believe the serving size is TWO bars so to have one should be fine. i think as long as you stay under 6g of sugars you shouldnt dump.

Sugar alcohols are derived from sugar, not sugar such as sucrose, fructose, maltose, etc. They are used as artificial sweetners, and can cause dumping. Their calories are lower than sugars themselves, but you still need to be careful.

Yes, they are used as artificial sweetners.
Witness the fact that so-called "sugar free" stuff that are still sweet will have sugar alcohol on their labels.
I think it causes *withdrawal* with some people.
