Default I am hungry!!

I am two weeks post op and I swear I am hungry. Sometimes I think I paid 30000 for a placebo! Maybe he just put a few slices in my belly and told me that I couldn't eat much anymore and no sweets!

Today I had:
B: Sugar free Instant Breakfast with skim milk
S: Strawberry Kiwi Yogurt
L: 1 Tbs Tuna Salad and 4 Ritz Crackers
S: SF Fudgecicle
D: 2 tbls cottage cheese and small fresh peach
S: SF Instant Breakfast with skim milk

Is this a normal amount? I swear I am hungry!! I never get that "full" feeling. The only difference I feel from preop is that I get the hiccups alot when I drink water. I have lost 20 pounds but I feel like I earned every one of them!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

my suggestiong don't do the fruit..the fruit sugars are carby carby carby and anyting carby makes ya hungry. Plus at some point fruit can often be the dumping cause.
I personally can rarely do fruit except a little bit of the fruit flavored yoghurts maybe a grape or 2 or every so often an apple. But beyond that..big mistake.
carbs = hunger pains
basically if you eat at pure a protein and solid a protein possible you are not gonna feel hungry..not TRUE body hunger..
now head hunger..can't fix that part!

I am 3 weeks post op. Just started experiences head hunger this week, I was hurting too much the first couple of weeks I guess. I haven't experienced the full feeling either, but then I am careful not to over eat becaue I don't want to. When I get that head hunger, I just get on the computer and cruise this site....LOL

it seems like enough but i would take out the fruit and the crackers and put in another protein choice. carbs early out motivated me to eat MORE for some strange reason. so i try not to eat them as much to this day, otherwise i'll be a bottomless pit all day.
the hunger might be what we call "head hunger" now that you are getting the chewing sensation your brain is trying to trick you. DONT LET IT!!!!!!! lol!
listen to your body; specifically your pouch. it will tell you when it's full or needs more as opposed to your brain which will tell you to eat regardless. tell your brain to take a hike lol!!!

its confuseing to know whats going on but if you look at your daily eating and load it into FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal and maybe put in a day of how you ate pre op you will see the difference in every area of your eating.
I know pre op you didnt just eat a tablespoon of tuna you ate an entire sandwich with bread ....
so your eating smaller amounts and relax your new tool will work.
JUST eat mostly PROTEIN as it does keep us fuller longer!
hugs

was that peach soft soft and pureed? this worries being your only 3 weeks out eatting a peach already yikes

and as for the crackers Im 3 weeks out and i would be frightend to even attempt letting that pass through my lips so god bless with that

I agree there is some other choices you can put in for protien that would be much better choices. take a look at the resipe section has some grate ideas in there.

sugar free apple sauce instead of the fresh peach, Or the peaches in the can or container that are in just water and pureed. Your only 3 weeks out im scared you might hert yourself eating thouse fresh peaches and i hope not the skin yikes

good luck with everything i just would hate to see ya get sick hun

You may be one of the lucky ones like me. I feel like I'm always hungry. If I stop eating when I feel satisfied I am hungry an hour later. If I keep eating till I feel full I get nauseous in about 15 minutes. I think it's head hunger but it really is hard to deal with. I am getting back into drinking my water. It seems to help.
