Welcome to the board, thank you for joining us.
Congratulations on joining the Loser's Bench, ((((((HUGS)))))) May your journey go well.
You must keep in mind that it will take 3-4 months for your inside to heal completely and regain its proper functions, and readjust to your new plumbing, so you need to be really really careful, especially early out, to stick to the diet plan from your surgeon.
If you didn't have any pre op classes and informations seminars, then I suggest you take your time reading through all the threads in this board, because it is going to take more, much much more than the surgery for you to lose weight, and to keep the weight loss for your life. This surgery is about changing your eating habits and your relationship with food, the surgery itself is only a tool, so if you decide to sabotage it by not following your surgeon's orders, you may wind up misusing your tool, and not getting to lose the weight you need to lose.
Good luck with everything.

You should ask your surgeon that Q. When is your follow up appt? You need to ask him about directives for post op activities, and get clearance from him for the level of exercise you can do at respective stages.
In general, most surgeons give clearance for gym exercise around 3-6 months, after your insides are completely healed, and can withstand the pressure from resistance exercise. The same goes with water exercise, ask your surgeon specifically when you can get into the pool.

Honestly, you are still very early out, and those who haven't had any glitches do feel as if nothing's been touched.
That said, you may feel fine right now, but not to scare you but, you may hit a snag yet, so don't try do things you have been instructed not to do yet, because you feel very good.

Reez first of all ((((HUGSS))) welcome on board and yeah good to see the losers team growing!!
Congratulations for the surgery, and yes my surgeon was even more strict with my diet
so I was on
2 weeks clear liquids
2 weeks non-clear liquids
2 weeks puree/semi solid
2 weeks solids (but lots of cautious!) no hard bread or grilled meat or stuff like that
and Gosh I've lost the biggest chunk in the first 2 months, and then things were up and down and got slower later!
I'm very thankful to God and to my surgeon for this surgery w/o it I would have spent the rest of my life dwelling on my helpless life!
I started with 152kg, 2 kids the 2nd was just 4 months old! I was so depressed that I was crying if I die at that time who would be able to carry me down to my grave! people would curse me instead of asking our merciful God to forgive me! this has worried me for many months! I wasn't happy with my life or with the new baby! so
I decided to do it and Gosh I was toooooo late! if I knew this is the result! I would have done it many many years before! what the hell stopped me I dunno!
I'm now happier, lighter, more confident and more successful in my life! even my boss look at me as more intelligent than before hehehe I don't know how?!!!
I'm very happy for you and for all the newbies
People I assure you, you'll be much much happier with your new lives!
Love,
Hanadi
