Please follow your docs instructions, there have been some that have had to reschedule their surgery date because they did not follow through with the liquid diet stage. Just remember tht it needs to be done for several reasons. You can do it...just think to the future and what will be once you get through this and have the surgery.

well, you want us to scare you into eating/drinking what you are supposed to? just dont eat what youre not supposed to or something bad will happen. complications, obstructions, pain, anything you didnt want. DONT DO IT!!! how was that?  seriously, if you want the best results possible just follow what your dr spelled out for you. dont stray. you'll get to food in due time.

yeah read thru some of boot's threads. that should scare you. i mean i am not saying she did anything wrong at all. but things happen and if you add food too early ontop of it who knows what could go wrong (sorry to use you as an example edie)

How long did you research this surgery? You are still swollen inside and could have some serious complications from eating the regular foods way too soon. Did you have to go through any of the usual sessons with the nutritionist and psychologist?

mate, if your doc put ya on fluids then you HAVE to do this! You are still healing inside and have areas of the intestines that are very tender due stitching to reattach..It's hard to not eat but this is part of what you --have to do-- **slap!** what're ya thinkin' mate? eh??
