Default Potatoes and Grits

My mom told me today that she has been researching what I can eat since she can cook really good and I'm getting burnt out on chicken salad, grilled chicken, tuna salad, baked fish, eggs, etc. She told me that she checked out some websites that said I could have grits and cream potatoes. I told her that I could only have protein for the first 6 weeks after surgery. She told me that she thought my surgeon was trying to starve me so I could loose the most in a short period of time and that I was going to starve to death. Now I know how moms can be but I was just curious, if anyone else was able to eat cream potatoes or grits, oatmeal, cereal this early out.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

well you wont starve to death, but some of us were cleared for mashed potatos and cream of wheat which is like grits. why not call and ask if you can have some. it was very soothing for me when i got tired of cold stuff. they told me to get instant mashed potatos. i still have the same huge tub i bought when i first got home

Same Goes With Me I Was Allowed To Have Mash Potatos, Cream Of Wheat Or Cream Of Rice. I Just Havent Made A Big Habit Out Of It Cause I Dont Want To Get Crazy With Carbs. But Cream Of Wheat Does Have A Little Protein In It, Its Not Much But Its Somthing.

Yes I was allowed mashed potatoes too. I want to say it was like 2-4 weeks not postive> Hard to believe that I cant remember that far back. But I know it was a nice change for me. I had them about 3 or 4 times a week. didnt want to get to many carbs and like Boots said, not much protien. But it was something different.

I wonder why my doc doesn't want me to have them. Did they make you dump?

I had them during 2-4 weeks out. They didn't make me dump. But I added Unjury proteing powder to make them worth my while.

i didnt dump off them. i didnt start dumping off carbs until WAY later lol. i dont think i ate enough to dump. the most i could eat at once that early out was like a tablespoonful. in fact i only ate them here or there not all the time because they were so filling. i ate them just for change. tired of jello lol.

it might be because he doesnt want you to get hooked on carbs so early out. do you have a nutritionist or fo you just deal with your surgeon? i would ask the nutritionist if its ok to have a little here or there.

Hmmm I Hear Everyone Talk About Unjury. Does It Really Have Not Taste To It. So It I Add It To Food I Wont Taste It At All. How Much Protein, Fat, Calories, Carbs, Etc Does It Have? Where Do You Get It?

Sorry To Change The Subject
