Default What else can I eat?

I'm sick of the same stuff everyday. My I am four weeks out and have two more weeks till I can start adding some veggies, fruits and carbs. What else can I eat? My diet consists of protein shakes (which are getting old too), deli turkey, tuna salad, chicken salad, eggs and cheese. I'm about to go crazy. I also wonder if I'll ever be able to eat spaghetti, chili again. I'm on prevacid for acid reflux since my surgery and took a small bite of a tomato the other day and was miserable the rest of the night. Is this just because my stomach hasn't truly healed?

What if I can never eat half way normal again? What have I done to myself?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

THe begining weeks can be hard. It is important espically the first few months to get on the best eating habbits we can. That is when the most weight will come off. High protein diet is very important espically in the begining. Try some of the stallone puddings to treat yourself, they are full of protein and great tasteing. I didnt do much different from what you mentioned for a very long time. Nowdays i do eat spagetti and pasta but in very limited amounts. I am italian and well i used to live on pasta...I was able to retrain my mind in the early months. Take full advantage. Change the way you think about food. I said to myself often that so what its boring, food shouldnt be exciting. We need to find excitement and pleasure in other things. Where i used to live to eat, i know eat to live. Hang in there....LittleLisaMarie

Can you have shrimp yet? When I was in the pureed stage I would blend up some shrimp with a TBSP of Light Mayo and some garlic powder and Old Bay Seaoning. It was really yummy, now I just at shrimp sauteed in butter and seasoning

hmmm. what about all the other smooth stuff, yogurt, cottage cheese, noodleless lasagna, rocotta cheese, i mean it will all depend on what your dr says is ok. but you can surely eat more than whats on your list up there

its very tough early out. you'll be eating "normal" in no time. hang in there. it gets easier i promise.
