Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I was on full liquid through week 3 and soft foods (purees) week 4 through week 7 and I will begin lifetime eating on week 8. Be very careful when introducing new stuff to your pouch...be home for the introduction! You never know how it will go. But every surgeon is different and you need to follow their plan. I know it seems tough, but it is in your best interest. And it does get easier!

My Doc says I can start puree in 1 week. I think I am looking forward to a non-liquid diet

Interesting! My doc sent me home on puree. Anything I can put in a blender and it's amazing what you can blenderize. LOL I've already tried meats and fish with no problems. The only time I hurt is if I eat too fast.

Default Hard time

Laurie, I was told to stay on a liquid diet for the first week and then after that I had to do the pureed foods till week 8, after that I go to soft foods until week 12 and then on to a normal diet. So its going to be a while. I am having a hard time because I am not particularly keen on the texture of pureed foods. Its all experimental though.

I had full liquids upon leaving the hospital for 3 weeks then went to puree for past 5 weeks - can do soft foods now - I was told to wait until 6 months out until introducing raw vegies or salad.
