 |  Went out to eat today
So, we took the kids out to eat today and of course they wanted to go to Golden Corral (All You Can Eat)!! What am I gonna do at a buffet after WLS??? HAHAHA. Well, I got a to go container and put 3 pieces of shrimp (I pulled the breading off), a small piece of pot roast, 4 lima beans and a pinch of some chicken and had it weighed....it came to a whopping $2.72!!! Mind you, the family each paid about $13.00 a piece for their meals! And I did not finish it all! It was so neat to be able to go out with the family some place that we could all enjoy! They were all on their third plate and heading for dessert before I finished my lil bitty container. It was so much fun though! The manager just asked me for my WLS card and there was no problem at all!

So that people do not go in there saying that they want a samll amount of food weighed and go back for more. My surgeon gives us a lil card that says that we had WLS and can only eat a small portion so to allow me to eat off the childs menu or something like that. Most places do not like it because they think they lose sales because of it. But as I pointed out, you can make a small sale off of me, but get 4 more people that are eating with my family.

I was told that I could weigh or get the seniors price with my card, but the seniors price is about 50 cents difference and I would not have eaten $13.00 worth of food.
