Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | a lot of posties seem to have trouble with the pork for some reason. try it with ground BEEF next time and see if that does better for ya. Plus sloppy joe sauces, like any, read the labeling unless of course you make your own. Some have sugars and corn syrups.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | LOL, the first time he made it, it was with beef and it didnt sit well either. I think he made it with turkey once and that was perfect. I definately change from day to day on the things I can/can not eat. Its actually getting funny! We use our own recipe and it is really good...I think that it was the pork. I dont eat the toast with it, that serves as a "decoration" for me now. LOLOLOL I am to the point now that Kenya was with "could I live off of shakes alone"? I wish!! LOLOL |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I'm a year and a 1/2 Post Op & I am one of the 'posties' that can't 'do' PORK. I'm not sure why...but it's ok...b/c I'd rather not eat it anyhow. Maybe it's in the sauce for you?? when I think Sloppy Joe I think a type of BBQ sauce....does it have maybe too much sugar? Just a thought.... Sorry you made your refunds...I always hated that! I don't "do" sloppy joes sooo I can't really commiserate...although I'm sorry you are getting sick...that stinks!!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I can do ham....and pork chops...beef is a hit/miss thing with me...some days are diamonds...some days are stone, as in HARD ROCKS SITTING IN POUCHY!! I've also had MEGA trouble with bread...toasted or otherwise. Any type of bread gives me the foamies....POUCH REVENGE!! As mentioned above, those types of sauces are usually high in sugar too...that could upset ya....but as Lisa said and as I'm sure you know..what doesn't work this week may work 2 weeks from now! When I was reading your post, I kept thinking...DANG that sounds good! I had a hunger for BBQ last week...went and got a chopped beef sandwich (minimal sauce) and ate the middle out of it...no bread/high in protein...it worked PERFECT!! |
