Default 1 week out

OK all so maybe some people can help me here. I am a little over a week out and am on pureed food. I have tried experimenting with a few things and so far so good, but I just cannot stand the texture of pureed food. Someone please help. Any ideas. Today I took Dinty Moore beef stew and pureed just the beef and then mashed the rest of it. I added in the beef and took little bites. It was great and honestly the first time I have felt full since the surgery. I am drinking Atkins shakes and I know that is a no no, but this is the only way to get my protein down. Any suggestions would be great.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I started out with Prostat 64...that was easy for me to get down until my tastes changed! Now I am using the Eas Vanilla powder for my shakes. It takes some trial and error to find the one that sits best with you. Good luck, just make sure that you try to get that protein in, it makes a difference.

Yesterday I had some ricotta cheese mixed with Splenda and cinnamon. It was wonderful! You could do that...

You can also mix cottage cheese with all kinds of spices to make it more interesting.

I ate mashed potatoes during puree week. Not a protein food but my dr. said to have them that week.

Yeah the pureed stage was a bit icky as I said. But I go thru it. God it seems like so long ago now. I just did what a I had to do to get thru it. It was good to move on
to the next stage. I did Friendsly idea of the noodless lasagna and that was good. Nice and warm and yummy. I did soup also and the one thing that went down well for me was cottage cheese. I was never a big cottage cheese person before but it sat well for me during the post op stage. And like someone else said, your tastes really do change after this surgery.
