Smile Chicken Noodle Soup

I just talked to my doctor and dietician and they said that as long as I chewed it up really really good I could eat chicken noodle soup....ahhhh....it is good too. I just couldnt seem to eat any ground up meat it wasn't working My mom cooked me a hamburger on the George Foreman and then ground it up with some kentucky fried chicken gravy and then mixed it in with mashed potatoes it wasn't bad....but it wasn't the best meal I have had. I have been drinking warmed campbells tomatoe juice it is pretty good I am going to get some unflavored protein today so that I can put it in my food I am not getting enough protein so this way maybe I will.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Glad you are eating - be careful of the sodium and carbs in your choices though!

just curious to know what is in KFC's mashed potatoes that would not be good for you. (i understand the gravy would probably have too much fat added)

I Really Dont Trust To Many Foods From Fast Food Joints. Also Unless I Know Whats In It Or How Its Made Im Better Off Boiling A Potatoe And Mashing It. At Kfc I Doubt They Just Boil A Potatoe And Mash It. Its Probably Process Potatoes And They Def Put Stuff In It To Taste So Good. But Thats Just Me

Wow, I can't believe the stuff you're eating so early out! I'm dying to eat real food again (I'm on a liquid pre-op diet, then clear liquids for 11 days), but I know I was told no pasta, rice, bread or steak during the puree stage at least, so I definitely can't do chicken NOODLE soup. Lots of people on here have said they had trouble with ground beef even pretty far out, but you handled it ok all mixed up? I have my cupboards stocked with tuna, chicken in the can, vegetables, some soups with chicken and veggies and a freezer full of shrimp and salmon. I just can't wait to get a chance to try it all. I'm still a while from that, but I'm excited!

KFC uses processed potato flakes with TONS of chemicals and preservatives and sodium. Same with their gravy.... My husband is a chef and knows the ins and outs. I used to work in food service as well. Stay CLEAR of fast food restraunts!
