Default My cottage cheese obsession continues...

This is the craziest craving - I LOVE Cottage Cheese!!! Ok, so my latest thing is the Cottage Doubles, but of course they're a bit high in sugar, so I was only using like 1/2 the fruit sauce and then would add a tad of splenda if needed. This is yummy, but a bit pricey, so I have been attempting to find a reasonable substitute. My latest is the small curd, ff cottage cheese from Breakstone's. I then add about 1T of Polaner's all fruit and a tad of spenda if needed. Yum!! I thought about trying salad the other day, but couldnt get it into my mouth - I've never been a salad eater although I know it;s good for me ~ hoped my taste changes would make me like and want salad but, so far, no go. Any other cottage cheese recipes out there?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

At least you are eating something is good for you instead of junk food. I love cottage cheese and peaches I drain the peaches and add the cottage cheese love this. I have also seen a recipe on here for cottage cheese pancakes haven't tried this yet.

Ok, Kenya, so here's the plan - you eat my salad and I'll eat your cottage cheese!

I'm not much of a salad eater either Clancy. I have gone through periods of spinach salad with the whole..chicken bacon cheese added and blue cheese dressing..but it's not something I crave.

Our nutriti. said about salad, lettuce it does not have nutritional value and our thoughts should always be (b-4) it goes in.."where is the protein?"

cottage cheese is awesome! hey...try adding a bit of sugar free fruit flavored yoghurt.

I think we often think..well I'm thin now I should eat salad that's what thin girls do...they live off salad..but hey we're not normal thin girls !!

I love it too!! I have been eating it plain. My favorite is the Winn Dixie 1% lowfat brand. 1/2 cup is 13 grams of protein whichs helps to meet the daily requirement.
Guess I need to add some fruit!

I like cottage cheese to but I do all kinds of things with it and here are two of them. I take some cottage cheese and cut up some raw onions and put it into some cottage cheese and then I put some pepper and a little cream into it till it is the consistency that you like. This is another way I eat cottage cheese which my whole family loves. I take a carton of cottage cheese and put it into a bowl and then I add a pkg. sugarfree orange jello and mix it up and then I put enough carb free whipped cream and two small cans of maderine oranges(I drain out the juice). Mix it all together and ohh is this yummy.
