Hello everyone- got a question. How long does UHC take to approve? I'm done with my nutrition, surgeon ok, psych eval- everything has just been submitted. Now what?

Congrats in finishing all your pre ops. Can't really help you on how long till approval, though, sorry. It usually seems a week to up to a month depending on the ins co. ((((((HUGS)))))

All of my info was faxed over at my consult and I was called the following week by UHC to let me know that I was approved. It took forever with my surgeon, because the girl that handles it was out on vacation. You can call customer service at UHC and ask them about it...where it is, what they are waiting on... Good Luck.

I too was approved within a couple of days. I would just call and check with them once a day. That's what I did. They letter they sent took about 2 weeks, but I was too impatient so I just kept calling and checking.
