Well my current PCP put the referral in Monday to change surgeons from UCD Dr. Fuller to Mercy San Juan Dr. Machado. This morning I received a call it was approved!!! I can hardly believe it myself! I am glad that I asserted myself (asking my pcp for a referral) and was able to find another doctor willing to do the surgery.
