Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  Ok this makes more sense Well I decided I would not take what that office manager said to me. I made a call to the insurance company again. I got a guy, and thought "Oh god I should hang up and call back." But then, something told me to just talk to him, he seemed very nice. He looked through my file and said a few things were missing. I asked what he said the Psych eval, I said you guys paid for it in January I know its there. He did find it, and said well on the diet it says you attempted to drink a protein shake. I explained to him that of course I did drink the shake and could not understand why they would use the word attempted. I also told him about the gluten intolerance and the gluten free diet I have to live with for the rest of my life. He said he saw nothing stating that, I told him I know the Dr faxed the paper over. I don't know if he ever found it. He also said you don't have a 5 year history. I said I know its there, he looked and said I see in this year 200? that you weighed 290 but there is no BMI. Well my dr weighs you on the scale every visit they don't use BMI. He said on a woman 5'8" that might not be as high a BMI. I said true, but then again I am 5'2" and it says so on the monthly weight slips from the scale the dieticians office uses. So he looked a bit, we talked a bit of course he offered out Jenny Craig. I said listen I did the 6 months and Jenny Craig won't even take me. They won't even look my way with the gluten intolerance. So he said you know what I am going to have them review your file again. If anything is missing I can let you know, and send a letter to your Dr office to let them know what we need. He said there was no reason for a denial on there, which was weird. So he will be calling me back by the end of the week. I do know he did make sure I knew I need this weigh in this month to actually complete the 6 months of weigh ins. So much for that office lady doing this all the time, and never being wrong. It made my day, as well as talking with someone from the same office. Who also gets the same hard time from this certain person, and she knows more who say the same. Here I thought it was just all me.  At least I am feeling a little more optimistic.
