Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  More Info on the Insurance Dilema Well the insurance guy really followed through he called me back this morning. First he told me they had no proof of my compliance in a 6 month diet. I was like OMG What? I turned all my paper work into the surgeons office. So I had nothing, and explained to him I turned all my journals into the surgeons office. Just then he said can you hang on I found something and need to talk to the nurse. So after a few minutes he came back and said ok we do have the proof of compliance. He told me since he had it reviewed and the nurse had just looked it over again with him that they have one thing missing. The 5 yr history from the Dr. They do have what was sent but he said what they are looking for and it could be sent in letter form. They need something from him stating in the year 2002 I weighed (whatever) and at a height of 5'2" this puts my BMI at making me Morbidly Obese. He needs to write in it for 2002-2007 sign it and fax it. He told me they would send it back for review and it would be approved since I have everything else they required done. I can only hope and pray. Now I am waiting on the PCP office to put the letter together and fax it. When they notify me it has been faxed I will give it a day or two and check back with him. He has been a true godsend, actually going through the file to find the papers the nurse and others overlooked. Well thanks all for reading my rantings.
