Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Paper work sent out today Well, I met with my doctor for my pre-op visit (surgery is tuesday 1-29-08) with him and he's satisfied with everything. I told him I was nervous about ins. approval and he actually said that he didn't think anyone got denied. So we went together to talk to the lady who handles his insurance approvals and he wanted her to reassure me that all would be fine and she said she's going to send everything as soon as he was done with my chart. She said to give it a couple days because it isn't a rush, but I asked her to call me when/if the approval came in. They seemed pretty darn confident, but after all I've heard on here, I'm not so sure. So keep your fingers crossed for me. It's in their hands now!

I was sure in my mind that I was gonna get denied and scared that it wouldnt happen and then I got that phone call that changed my life. Your call will come very soon and let us know when it does. they offices do know how to work with the insurance companies and they are used to getting all the ducks in a row before they present the cases. Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Mine did the same thing. Gave me the date and booked the OR but it was all pending on the approval. So I think that is why they people know what are doing Kelly. They pretty much know ahead of time of the ones that will get approved I think. It was wierd cause I had a date but not the approval yet. But 3 days later I got that lovely phone call that changed my life.
