Default Easy pureed soup

Need something for those inevitable times when you just gotta eat, eat, eat?
Here's an easy one for newbies and oldies as well. Sorry, no measurements...wing it according to taste.
Curried carrot soup
Boil carrots until soft. Transfer carrots to blender reseving broth in pan. Add a spoon or two of both to carrots and puree to desired consistently. Return puree to pan. Add water to make soup desired consistency. Add chicken powder, boullion or broth, 1T butter or margarine (not much fat for a big pan of soup, so don't panic), curry powder to tase and bring to a simmer. Serve and garnish as desired with plain yogurt. Stir in yogurt (on an individual basis so 1) the svgs look pretty 2) the yogurt won't curdle. Enjoy!
Nothing better than protein and deep colored veges. This is a nutrition packed but not caloried dense, guiltless food, and it is yuuuummy!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

SOUNDS yummy.
I did do soup early out far more then when i got out further.
I had asked my surgeon about SOUP!

YOU know how most surgeons tell us no liquids with our meals.
WELL soups is a liquid and solid and almost breaks that surgery rule.
I had asked my surgeon about this when i was about 2 to 3 months
out and he said not to go to crazy with soup. BUT in moderation
on ocasion its fine. I like makeing homemade chicken soup
in the winter time so i had to knows.

Ahhh so many factors to keep in mind!!!!!

Copying this thread into the Gastric Bypass Diet pages.
We always need good recipes, and if left here only, this wonderful menu is going to get lost as the days go along.
Thank you Vicki, I hope you're doing fine these days.
