Question need help... looking for sugar free dessert recipe

I'm going to spend a couple days with my husband in 2 weeks and it'll be my birthday. He wants to have something dessert like, but obviously I'll have to make it since you can't buy SF stuff like that. Any suggestions? It has to have as few ingredients as possible because even if you only need a teaspoon of something, I'd have to buy and bring an unopened product.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Lisa, I forgot about the cheesecakes, I may have to make one of those soon! GG - I have several things I like that are sweet treats - one is to make the Libby's pumpkin pie substituting Splenda for sugar and I omit the crust although you dont have to, you can use sf whipped topping. I also listed a recipe not long ago for mock coconut custard pie which I like (hint: when mixing the eggs, milk, etc use a food processor or blender, I think it will turn out better, also use a pie pan or 9x9 pan, I used a round casserole and it didnt turn out too great). Kitty beats anything I've ever seen coming up with recipes, maybe she'll have some good suggestions. My birthday last year was 2 weeks post op and I think I had a protein shake - wasnt ready for a party yet though....

Be sure to check your "foods allowed" list to make sure you're ready for the ingredients

Really! Thanks Edie, that's good to know!

I was actually looking at Kim's pecan pie recipe, it's something I avoided even through my gaining years because they say it's loaded with sugar, but with SF honey and splenda, maybe I can enjoy it again! Plus hubby will be there to eat all the rest so I don't have to!

I have so many recipes and not sure what you would like but I am thinking a good one is the chocolate no bake cookies the way I revised them. I am not sure if I posted the recipe but I will have to check and if I did not I will post it here a little bit later on. It is fudgy and loaded with protein and is so yummy. Everyone who tasted it really liked it. Only thing mine is fudgy and does not get like the real chocolate no bake cookies and have to keep them in the fridge. I was going to try and make them this week again becasue I am craving something fudgy. I am going to add a little more protein powder and add some of the protein cereal that I have here that has lots of protein and add a little less oatmeal. The cereal looks like rice krispies but is low in carbs and high in protein. So once I get a chance this week I am going to make them a different way and if they turn out good I will post this recipe as well. But I am thinking this resipe might have to many ingredients. Another good one is creamcheese in sugarfree jello. That is really good and creamcheese has the protein. Or another good one is sugarfree jello with cottage cheese and a can of manderian oranges (drained) and the whip cream that comes in a can that has no carbs. I ate this one alot at the beginning without the oranges. To make it even better is adding minature marshmellows to it. I did not becasue of the carbs in the marshmellows. My kids and husband love this desert. I have lots of recipes but I have not tried alot of them yet.
Like some said there are lots of really good low carb sites on the internet and that is where I got lots of recipes and I also am in the process of revising alot of my old time favorite recipes that I ate before surgery. I am having pretty good luck with them and at least I can enjoy them like the rest of my family do. My mom and sister are making some dishes that i can eat and they are really enjoying revising them. I think it is a chalenge for them and they enjoy it and my mom is starting to eat alot of them already and she is really enjoying the flavors and just the fun of revising resipes. Once I am further out my mom wants to practice with me some dumplings with my powders that I have and I want to try some carmel rolls with my powders and my splenda brownsugar and some other recipes I have found and just am going to try and mix and match what works the best. But I will not try them till I am pretty close to my goal weight and to maintain before I am going to attempt to make them. So right now I need to concentrate on proteins and losing the weight. I cannot wait till my garden produces so that I can enjoy my veg. after protein intake. I hardly ever have any problems getting in my proteins and still enjoying my veg and fruits. I am going to keep on eating like I am becasue with my blood test showed I am getting enough protein in me.
So I hope this helps.
