Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I was so ready to start that part of the diet. I really enjoyed fat free re fried beans at that stage. You can puree just about any kind of veggie or soft meat you like. It wont be long until you will be eating "real food" again.. good luck on your journey

i would take 1/3 cup ricotta cheese and put it in a tiny ramekin and put 1 tsp tomato sauce and microwave a few seconds; made sugar free egg custard, that was REALLY tasty; edemame hummus; soft scrambled eggs

I've heard of soft scrambled eggs mentioned in here before..what exactly is a soft scrambled egg? I'm looking for good pureed food to eat for 4 weeks when I get to that stage. I can't imagine eating like that for that lenght of time. but oh well

hi - not sure if this is the actual description but i always interpreted it that you make sure that your eggs are still moist and not dry. i always added a little shredded cheese to my eggs.

I've eaten:

1. Poached eggs or soft boiled with shredded cheddar
2. Egg salad with low-fat mayo
3. Yogurt
4. Sugar-Free pudding
5. Low-Fat Ricotta cheese with sauce and shredded mozzarella
6. BabyBel Lite Cheese
7. Poached filet of sole with stewed tomatoes
8. Tuna with low-fat mayo
9. Chili

Next on the list is refried beans with shredded cheddar and fat-free sour cream.

Of course everything is mushed or pureed to death before I eat it. And don't forget to GO SLOW and CHEW.

Good Luck!

If you have a good blender, the puree stage shouldn't be boring! Just about any recipe in the Recipes forum can be stuck in a blender, swirled around, and eaten as a puree. Lousy texture (isn't that the definition of puree? ) but all the great taste.

That's what I did when I went through that phase, and I stocked the freezer with leftovers for Peanut to use when she got there, too.
