Talking RICOTTA: More than a Lasagna Chz....

Well...I was watching Martha....(new Martha Stewart show) and there was a Dr. on there giving some great PROTEIN breakfast tips....
__________________________________________

RICOTTA cheese (low or no fat) mixed with strawberries or blueberries. She added a little stevia...but I'm using splenda! OMG....this is soooo good - it CAN NOT BE RIGHT!!!
1/4c. POLLY-O Fat Free Ricotta (cal-50, Protein-10g, Carbs - 3g)
Then strawberries - (1c. = Cal- 46, Protein - 1g, Carbs - 11g)
__________________________________________

WOW...this is sooo great, and 11g of protein...and very low Calories & Fat! ) YUM!!!

This Dr. Klauer - who apparently is a NYC - Park Avenue Weight Control Doctor. She wrote a book called, How the Rich get Thin.

These are the basics that the book covers:
  1. Exercise an hour every day.
  2. Eat high-quality protein at every meal.
  3. Get enough calcium — eat and drink plenty of dairy.
  4. Say yes to complex carbs.
  5. Eliminate all processed foods.
This is interesting to me because ALL of these that she talks of....is generally what our Surgeons give us for the basic protocol.

We all are suppose to exercise, eat protein at every meal, and take our vits...which include the calcium.
Thru learning...and studying....I've learned that complex carbs are good...
And last but not least...my pouch taught me about how BAD/HORRIBLE processed food is for me!
(pretty much any processed food makes my pouchy VERY VERY GROUCHY!!! Bye-bye fast food....couldn't even take a couple bites while traveling on the road of a bacon-egg-& chz biscuit from MickyD's...got all sort of SICKY!!)

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

sure RICOTTA cheese and splenda and cinimon is good as well!
IT makes a great treat slightly warmed!
alot can be made for us and its LO CARB too the ricotta so
its a usueble item here ...i played with it on my pureed
stage.
AND many here know deb strawberries and soy nuts were my
mystery food that broke stalls. WAS it that or my body ready
i dont know but I never stalled .....so go figure ...only
stalled when i hit surgeons goal and doctors goal but i think
thats me lately!
GO figure

THIS way of eating in this book is ALSO ATKINS LIKE!
and SOUTH BEACH like. I alway fall onto those rules for my
guidelines post op. I love dr. Atkins new diet revolution
and learned alot cause it works so like we are supposed to eat
for life.
