Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Here is a oatmeal that wont kill us in carbs!!! Mock Oatmeal 1/2 C Ricotta Cheese 1 pk. splenda 1 egg 1 cap maple flavoring Mixing. together and microwave 1min 30 sec to 2 min, stirring after 1 minute. The maple smell is wonderful. The texture looks kind of funky, but it tastes good, and is a great protein breakfast that isn't just EGGS!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I posted a recipe in the recipe forum for a moc oatmeal! I heard it looks funcky but tastes good. As for me even the QUAKER INSTANT OATMEAL in WEIGHT CONTROL variety wiht 7 protein is little to high carb for me at 29 carbs!!THATS my total amount when I am behaving and eating right.!!!! HARD one!

| Super Moderator | Considering that oat's major nutrient is carbohydrate...well, if it doesn't have carbs, it ain't true oatmeal.... Truthfully, I'm no great fan of oatmeal......so I think I'll pass even mock ones. Looks good for protein, though.

| I will give it a whirl Lisa. I WILL TRY ANYTHING ONCE. LOL As far as the egg in ricotta Deb, that is what goes into the stuffed shells recipe that I used to make pre op. It is not too bad. I am sure someone has had those before. I will let you know how it tastes. I have to get some ricotta first. lol mike |
