Roux en Y Gastric Bypass
Default cottage cheese ice cream version

Banana flavored ice cream
12 oz cottage cheese..( I use fat free)
1 scoop of isopure zero carb banana protein powder
¼ cup of FF milk
½ pack of S/F banana instant pudding mix
2 splenda packs
Serving size- ½ cup… 41 calories….0.05 fat…..2 carbs…..2 grams of natural sugars…..6 grams of protein

Strawberry/Banana flavored ice cream
12 oz cottage cheese ( I use fat free)
1 scoop of Designer Whey Vanilla bean protein powder
¼ cup of FF milk
½ pack of S/F banana pudding instant mix
3 medium strawberries
Serving size ½ cup… 52 calories….0.16 grams of fat…5 carbs…. 1 gram of fiber… 3 grams of natural sugar.. 7 grams of protein

Chocolate flavored ice cream
24 oz of cottage cheese (I use fat free)
1/2 cup of FF milk
2 scoops of Iso pure low carb chocolate protein powder
You could add crushed nuts for a little extra favor and protein, but be aware that the values will change.
45 calories… 1 gram of fat…..4 carbs… 0.2 fiber….3 grams of natural sugar….. 13 grams of protein


Orange cream flavored ice cream
24 oz of cottage cheese ( I use FF)
1 pack of SF orange flavored jello mix
½ cup fat free milk
2 scoops of Designer whey vanilla bean protein powder.
Serving size- ½ cup 67 Calories…. 0.2 grams of fat…6 carbs…4 grams of natural sugar…. 10 grams of protein..


Throw everything in a blender and blend well. I recommend storing them in small bowls as they are not as easy to scoop as actual ice cream. I let mine sit on the counter for a few minutes or even microwave to soften it up to a soft serve consistency around the outside of the bowl then I use my spoon to stir it back around with the frozen part. This turns it into a hard serve type.. I stored it in 4 oz and 8 oz zip lock toss and go bowls.


I am not a nutrionalst so my nutrional values are at the best of my ability based from measuring ingredients and reading labels. I did round off to the nearest whole number… but I do still think the values are pretty close and healthy ratios for such a yummy treat.

Made this with Pure Protein cookies and cream powder and sf vanilla instant pudding and crushed up a couple of Murry's SF oreo type cookies into it before freezing.....YUMMO!!!!!! Cookies and cream ice cream, it was so good!!!
