Default Kielbasa Bean Soup

16 oz. Turkey Kielbasa, cut lengthwise and then sliced
2 - 48 oz. boxes of low sodium chicken broth
8 oz. dry split peas
8 oz. dry pinto beans
4 medium carrots, chopped
3 medium celery sticks, chopped
1 large onion

Put all ingredients in slow cooker, cover. Cook on low to medium heat for at least six hours or until beans are tender.

This is soooo yummy. Even my kids like it and request it often for dinner.

I don't know the nutritional content for this, but it has to be loaded with protein with the beans. If anybody wants to chime in with the info, please feel free.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Thanks for the recipe! I use to make this all the time except not with Turkey! I so will when I'm able to start eating solid foods again!
It's actually my favorite!
