Post Stuffed feta and spinach turkey burgers

1/4 cup crumbled corn flakes
1/4 cup sliced green onion
3 tblspn of cholesterol free egg substitute
1 lb 93% lean ground turkey(white meat only)
1/2 (10 oz thawed and drained frozen spinach
1/3 cup crumbled reduced fat feta cheese
1/4 cup of chopped black olives
pepper
chopped tomato

These can be grilled or fried in the skillet with a little cooking spray

combine corn flakes, onion and egg subsitute, add turkey, mix well and make 8 patties and put on wax paper.

combine drained spinach, cheese olives, and pepper until well blended.

put about 2 tablespoons each on 4 patties, top with remaining patties and seal the edges.

Fry or grill until done! Top with chopped tomatoes.

These are awesome. 1 patty was basically my whole meal.

Nutritional info:

1 stuffed burger per serving

190 calories
4 grams total fat
1 gram saturated fat
31 grams of protein (can you believe that?)
8 grams of carbs
2 fiber

I got this recipe and others out of a mail order magazine DIABETIC COOKING. My husbands grandmother has several. There are some great recipes that are high protein and low carb. Each recipe tells you the nutrional value. YUUUMMMMYYYYYYY

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
