CARB-LITE Low carb Recipes and Advice

I found this site when I was on the australian low carb list off yahoo. It has some of the best recipes I've ever found, they each list all the nutritional information which is a great perk..plus there are tons of recipes and it's all FREE...my fav thing!

Breakfast which is always a toughie for some...tons of recipes ! party foods, snack stuff...It helped me get more creative at time I was just eating the same ole stuff.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Breechick, thanks for the hook up with the carbsmart recipes. I actually found a couple I want to try this week for my 1st meals on 'solid foods'. I am now 6 weeks out(or will be on Tuesday) Yeah, real food. I hope I don't overdue. Thanks again.

great donna! I love that site and it's like having a whole cookbook to browse through and get ideas.

I used fitday.com for tracking my foods for months and months. With those type of recipes I could add in my own foods if needed.

Fitday is great for the visual, goal tracking etc and I really liked how you can see over time a ratio of protein/fat/carbs to see what ratios works best for YOU. Mine seems to be a 60/40 on protein/carbs and a higher fat intake..and yeppers if I eat higher carb ratios I would plateau out! At least with the fitday I could see what that was about.

Plus it helped me to really learn about what I was eating..probably something I should go back to!
