Arrow PB/protein recipe

I had to sit a bit and figure this out as I kind of just sling this together!

1-2 cups Peanut butter (I use natural if possible)
3-4 scoops or more of your fav protein powder
1/2 cup to 1 cup of rolled oats
MIX..you can also add artificial sweetner if you like a sweeter taste this comes out pretty bland tasting!

nuts...I used mixed but you can do whatever kind of nuts you want
2 ways to mix in the nuts...
chopped coarsely OR
whiz in the food processor until they are a meal-like mixture

ADD to and if using the meal=like mixture reserve some to rolls the ball in.

This is a kind of variation on the La Leche League recipe using PB/Milk Powder/Honey and rolled in sesame seeds.

I've also done this with the powdered milk which gives a crunchier texture.

You kind of have to play around with it to get it to a mixture/texture that will form a ball and hold that shape.

I refrigerate these in 'snack baggies' in 3 at a time the size of an english walnut.

Protein level/amount varies upon if you use powdered milk or the protein powder.

For a wetter texture I've also used the Da Vinci vanilla 'syrup' which is a watery texture not thick and it makes it pretty sweet that way!

--I often will have these for breakfast!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Thanks for the recipe - I have been purchasing protein bars at $2.79 each so this will help in saving money and also give me the extra protein. Garda from Ontario,
