Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Okay, I'm not at that stage, but I'll be there soon, so, let's think creative -- my husband (who is the cook in the family) says that you can puree just about anything you like -- so long as it stays within your dietary guidelines. I don't know what you've had so far or what you're bored with -- how about a Denver omelette? Or how about a mix of mashed white and sweet potatos, seasoned to taste with a little melted cheese? My husband said he used to puree a turkey dinner for seniors -- I guess you need a really good food processor -- but why not?

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | what about actual hot meals? like whatever the family is having for dinner, throw it in the food processor. chicken, fish, veggies (as long as they are cooked soft) you cant have beef yet can you? scrambled eggs? omlettes? i have to confess i ate chicken and stars and lots of creamy soups. when it came to puree i was at a loss. i ate a lot of the soft moist and chewed the HELL out of regular food. i just couldnt do the babyfood and couldnt think of things to stick in the blender. DONT FOLLOW THAT. im just confessing lol! |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Ok gurly first I love to cook and i love lots of flavors 1 small pacage of chicken breast boneless(pre slice tenders work great or you can slice the breast yourself) small slices foil a cookie sheet (makes easy to clean) then sprinkal hevaly with (mccormic Garlick Herb seasoning blend, or basil&garlic, lemeon pepper the first to are new flavors) then put in a 350 oven like 15 min or so cooked but still moist flip inbetween then take the chicken out of the oven and put in majic bullet, or blender with one spoon of cream of mushroom soup, and chicken stock blend to puree. I promise you this will melt in your mouth omit the mushroom soup if you dont like it. after you have done all of these steps and pureed in the blender fill ice cube tryes with the mixture and place in the freezer. 1cube is one portion. take out of freezer put in microwave for 30 to 60 seconeds instant meal its like a tv dinner this is very smooth and goes down very easy i have never had a problem if seems to thick add more stock to the resipe.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Kenya and Boots, I hated purees too. Everything was so nasty. I'm not much of a cook. Hey, there was a guy at our support meeting talking about a lady who had pureed Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!! Now THAT is way beyond the guidelines. P

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | This is for veggies go to the store and in the frozen section they have the little boxes of the microwave veggie steamers. I bye the green beens with the almands and through the almand packet out because we cant have them. broccill and carotts with sisoning. then i put them in the microwave cook them then blend them and put them in the ice cube trays there are your portions. I cook all fresh potatos and make mashed and carrots and blend them and put in seprit ice trays. frozen and fresh veggies are the best for you so much less sodium if you need anything moist add chicken or beef stock when blending when your ready for dinner pull out one meat two veggies and a bit of apple sauce and bona- ba- teet. ready in 1 min and i put on a paper plat the only dishes i have is the fork i ate with. I literly probley have enough frozen veggies and meets to get me to the end of sept in my frezzer right know. every meal is fresh and taste like ya just made it ![]()
