No Worries I'm not eating out yet. I was just curious. I am a real estate agent and find myself eating out with clients from time to time.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I recently had the appetizer Crab Cake at Ruby Tuesdays and it was YUM-O! At Mexican resturants, I've ordered a chicken taco and eaten the filling. A lot of times, ordering an appetizer works best or like someone else said, ordering a sandwich and eating the fish or chicken from it.

Anything that is cooked FRESH! Meatballs are not one of those items. Remember that unless you find a place your absoluty sure makes them fresh from fresh meat. I mainly order steamed or grilled shrimp or a nice cut of steak like NY strip. Any thing processed I know it right away. I cant handle it.

I do well with steaks, smoked meat and fish. Usually DH orders steak or steak and fish or shrimp and I have a few bites of this and that - unless we go to a BBQ place in which I will order 1 pound of pulled smoked pork (mostly to go) and a baked sweet potato which I eat with no butter. I just love pork post op, like I've never loved any food before LOL!!! I chew lots of times and really havent had any problems. Actually we go out just the two of us and it's a great deal coz we only order one entree.

I have Successfully eaten at:
Taco bell - crunchy taco supreme or reg. crunchy taco. Flour tacos don't sit well
Applebee’s - chicken fajitas, no tortilla or rice
Don Qujoites (Mexican restaurant) I can eat their lunch size chicken enchilada platter and take home half for later
Red Lobster - Grilled Flounder
Olive Garden - soup and salad with side of grilled chicken
I've learned to eat hamburgers ONLY at home, because the ones out in public seem to send me to the bathroom
McDonalds - I order the chicken wrap w/o the tortilla
Jack in the Box - any grilled sandwiches without the buns (serves 2 meals)

Those are some of my successes. It is hard when you start to venture out from the home to see where you can eat. I know my life style has changed to where I do not meet ppl so much for lunch, I make meetings throughout the day other than lunch meetings, because I'm still nervous about food sending me to the bathroom.

I am experimenting with juicing now to get more fruits and veggies in my diet.

I am a Real Estate Agent as well, and when I FEEL like I NEED to take a client to lunch, I take them where I know that I can eat something.

When I started to eat out, I ventured out by myself or with my husband first to see if I had any reactions to food that I was eating in public because I didn't want to get embarrassed.

When I do venture to new food and it seems not to agree with me, I get all irritable and start feeling hot to where I start fanning myself, at this point if I stop eating what ever it is so I don't end up in the bathroom. I need to take a few minutes to get through the moment of symptoms and then I am fine.

I've pretty much sworn off fast food...I went to each company's website and read the nutritional charts...that'll scare the beejeebies out of ya!! I can do the grilled chicken at Chik Fil A....but no McDonalds, Whataburger, wendys or taco bell (taco bell made me dump so bad, I'll never repeat that!!) I avoid carbs...so nothing with tortillas, bread, rice or pasta....DDH & I split fajitas a lot...I eat the chicken, beans & beef....topped with cheese and hot sauce....I pretty much avoid spicy, since we have to wait to drink anything after..

Ruby Tuesday's has a really good Chicken & Broccili Quiche. I also had their petite sirlion the other day and it was good too. When I go the Red Lobster I get the broiled platter because I love the scallops then I take the rest home for my daughter's to eat. (They are teens and you never know when they will be at home)

Yes I Also Sworn Off Fast Food Joints They Are Just So Unhealthy For You!!!!

Redlobster Has Great Choices Of Fish
Tgi Friday Has A Diet Menu And A Small Portion Menu
Applebees And Ruby Tues Also Cater To Diet Low Cal Foods

And Of Course Privately Own Rest. Are Great Because You Can Ask Them To Make Food To Your Liking. Like Plain Grilled Chicken Or Fish, Salad Etc.

Its Safe To Eat Out As Long As You Choose Wisely
